Challenges For 2025

Follow the challenges each new kit time and complete every one before the deadline to get an extra prize goody in your next kit box.

Mostly Monochromatic Challenges

Mostly Monochromatic Challenge One - April 13th 2025

This is the first of the new challenges. There will be a total of four different challenges in total to complete. Each new challenge will be added here every Sunday. Complete all the challenges to receive an extra prize goody in your next kit box. The closing date to finish all the challenges and be eligible for the prize in your kit box is midnight Sunday May 25th 2025 so you get some extra time to finish them all.
Here are the details of the first challenge:

Mostly Monochromatic Challenge One - Orange
The new challenges are all about using monochromatic colours, shades/tones of one colour. Your first colour is orange so I want you to make a project where most of the colour you use is tones of orange. You can make anything paper crafty you want, it doesn't have to be a scrapbook layout, it can be a pocket page, a card, a minibook, a set of embellishments, so long as it's new and made for this challenge and uses paper craft it's all good. As it's a 'mostly' monochromatic challenge you can use bits of other colours too. The main aim of the challenge is to use it as a starting point for what to pick out to use from your supplies. For my example I went through the March/April main kit and picked out all the orange toned bits and bobs then went into my leftover box to pick out more orange bits and finally picked out some media, ink, Nuvo drops and watercolour in shades of orange.

If you know what you want to do, you can just get started but if you've no idea where to start I've included some starting point ideas as inspiration taken from myself and Pinterest to help kick start your own idea in the gallery below.

Once you've finished your project upload it here or you can share it in the Facebook group, make sure you note it's for Mostly Monochromatic challenge 1 so I can count it up at the end. You can complete the challenges in any order and upload as you go or all at once at the end but make sure to complete and upload all of them by midnight on May 25th if you want to be eligible for the extra goodie in your kit box. If you want to do them just for fun feel free!

Have fun.

Mostly Monochromatic Challenge Two - April 20th 2025

This is the second challenge in the series of four.

Mostly Monochromatic Challenge Two - Yellow
The new challenges are all about using monochromatic colours, shades/tones of one colour. Your next colour is yellow so I want you to make a project where most of the colour you use is tones of yellow. For my example, (first image in the gallery) I used papers and stickers from the March/April Lite kit as well as leftovers from old kits in my stash using a combination of what worked with my photos and the colour yellow as a guide for what to pick out.
